Renee Eden
Renee was born and raised in Southern California. Renee and her husband Kirk were high school sweethearts, and they were married shortly after high school. They have been married now for nearly 40 years. They have three children: Wes, Jessica, and Travis. Renee owned and operated a very successful grooming salon in Southern California for 20 years. It was there that she came up with the idea to open the ranch. Renee has always loved working with dogs and she is a very skilled groomer with over 30 years of experience working with and training dogs. Some of her favorite things include baseball (especially the Dodgers), and spending time with her four granddaughters. She also loves to bake and she makes fantastic cookies. If you’re lucky you can catch some of them in the front office before they’re all gone!
Kirk Eden
Kirk has a profound love for animals, especially dogs. He loves working hard on keeping the Ranch property beautiful in his spare time when he’s not hard at work caring for the guest dogs. He has a reputation of being the Dachshund whisperer as every rescue of that breed instantly gravitates to him. He is the Daddy to Tater the Mini Bull terrier and Papa to his four Granddaughters, Eva, Lillian, Violet and Mabel.
Wes Eden
Wes is the oldest son of Renee and Kirk and like the rest of the family has grown up with dogs all of his life. He is the papa to Ripley a Doberman Pinscher and Newt a little Italian Greyhound. He enjoys working with the challenges of big groups of dogs everyday and loves to head out on rescue missions to save puppy mill dogs. He has a passion for filmmaking and works constantly on all of the videos that are shared on our Facebook page.

Sharing their home are 3 French Mastiffs, Betty, Norma, and Louise, and a very old French Bulldog, Satchmo. Jessica has been working with dogs since she was 12 in Renee’s grooming salon. She has been able to experience dog behavior in groups and individually for more than 20 years giving her insight into how to better care for clients dogs at the ranch and inform clients how to better succeed with them at home. When Jessica isn’t working at the ranch she is kept very busy taking kids to various sports and activities, cooking and baking (because she likes to) and spending time with friends and family.
Travis Eden
Travis is the youngest child and began training and working with dogs in his teens. He lives onsite in a house on the southern part of the property with his roommate and best friend Bryan. They share their home with Sweeps, Daryl, Sir Frederick, Jim Bob, and hospice fosters Dwayne and Hercules. Travis does a lot of the psychological/ temperament evaluations at the ranch and does it in his spare time for rescue dogs in shelters. He has a keen eye for being able to immediately spot and assess not only the specific behavior of dogs but also to put forth what needs to be done to provide a balanced environment in which they can thrive, and has been doing so everyday for a decade.
